Create a basicauth identity

Synopsis

Wayfinder supports the use of multiple identities, i.e., a user can log in with single sign on, API token, or basicauth (depending on wayfinder's configuration).

Note: for a local user an administrator must first create and set the password for the user.

wf create identity basicauth [flags]

Examples


# Create a basicauth identity for the user James
$ wf create identity basicauth -u james -p - (password will be read from stdin)

# Update the current logged in user
$ wf create identity basicauth

# Users can update their identity using the same command
$ wf create identity basicauth -p - (defaults to current user)

Options

  -h, --help                help for basicauth
-p, --password BOOL Read the password from stdin BOOL
-u, --username USERNAME Username you are updating the identity for (defaults to current) USERNAME

Options inherited from parent commands

      --debug              Indicates we should use debug / trace logging (default: false)
--force Used to force an operation to happen (default: false)
--no-wait Indicates we should not wait for resources to provision
-o, --output string Output format of the resource (json,yaml,table,template) (default "table")
--profile string Use a profile other than your default for this command
--show-headers Indicates we should display headers on table out (default true)
--verbose Enables verbose logging for debugging purposes (default: false)
-w, --workspace string The workspace you are operating within
