wf assign compliance

Assigns a compliance package to your workspace


Note: This command is not currently supported.

Compliance packages provide rulesets of behaviour and best practice around how workspace members and administrators interact with resources. Out of the box they place safeguards around application deployments and workspace layout.

Compliance packages include items such as workspace roles, plans, policies, role assumptions policies and the criteria for how the roles and assigements are applied, along side validation rules for cluster-based resources. Compliance packages provide the following controls:

  • Control the ingress domains
  • The makeup and settings of deployments
  • Ensure consistent labelling on workloads
  • Block off dangerious role bindings
  • And more
wf assign compliance [flags]


# Assign the compliance policy your workspace.
$ wf assign compliance -f <directory>

# View the current compliance packages
$ wf get compliance [name]

# Remove the policies associated to the compliance package via
$ wf delete compliance <name>


      --dry-run        shows the resource but does not apply or create (defaults: false)
-f, --file strings file or directory contains the compliance package
-h, --help help for compliance
--permissive indicates the policies should be permissive

Options inherited from parent commands

      --debug              Indicates we should use debug / trace logging (default: false)
--force Used to force an operation to happen (default: false)
--no-wait Indicates we should not wait for resources to provision
-o, --output string Output format of the resource (json,yaml,table,template) (default "table")
--profile string Use a profile other than your default for this command
--show-headers Indicates we should display headers on table out (default true)
--verbose Enables verbose logging for debugging purposes (default: false)
-w, --workspace string The workspace you are operating within
