Self-service Cluster Provisioning Lifecycle

< benefits | introduction to self-service cluster provisioning

Self-service cluster provisioning follows a straightforward lifecycle. The process can be initiated by administrators, workspace owners, or members (developers) who specify the cluster configuration and compute instances needed for provisioning a Wayfinder-managed Kubernetes cluster. Once the cluster is created, it becomes automatically available to applications within the workspace. Developers can then select one of these clusters to deploy their applications.

When updates are required to the cluster such as adding another node pool, changes can be made and the cluster will be updated accordingly.
